Medical Training in Connecticut

All applicants must be at least 16 years of age with valid proof of identification. Students under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian signature to proceed with enrollment. Applicants must be able to speak, read, and understand English. A physical form will be supplied by Academy of Medical Training L.L.C. and must be filled out proving a physical examination has been performed within the last year and also a negative PPD result within the last 3 months. If PPD results are positive, a chest xray must be done to prove a true negative result. Students will not be allowed to begin class without a cleared physical form. 

Upon enrollment you will be provided with the necessary equipment needed to participate in class and clinical at no additional fee. If, however, you lose any of your equipment, including your I.D. badge, you will be financially responsible for replacing the equipment.

As part of the CNA course all students will also become certified in CPR and First Aid at no additional cost. CPR classes are available separately from the CNA course if needed.

CPR and First Aid fee is $100.00 if student is not enrolling in CNA class. CPR course alone is $80.00 and First Aid course alone is $30.00. Discounts will be given to City of Waterbury Employees and Waterbury Hospital and St.Marys Hospital Employees.
